First heading to the oil sands on a drilling rig in 1999, Chris brings 25 years of industry experience and knows what works and the pain points of clients and projects. Recruited to the rope access industry in 2010 he has managed iconic projects such as Canada Place roof replacement and BC place rehab. After selling his first company in 2014 he founded Structure Group with the focus on heavy mechanical and welding services. Chris is happiest in the field covered in oil, coal, dirt with the teams swinging a hammer or turning wrenches.

Combining his experience in the field, consulting, and managing projects and shops, Steven is committed to finding the best Engineering solutions for each project. He holds degrees from the University of Waterloo (Mechanical Engineering) and the Ohio State University (Welding Engineering) and has been a part of multiple industries across western Canada. Leading the engineering efforts at Structure, he is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the technical approach, from engineering, quality and documentation to client turnover, commit Structure to applying the highest standards to each project.

Stephanie is an accomplished Operations Manager with five years of experience in streamlining processes and enhancing operational efficiency. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Grant MacEwan University and has been an integral part of Structure Group and its sister company, MSCP, since the outset of her professional career. Stephanie is dedicated to continuously improving workflows and plays a key role in driving the achievement of organizational goals for both companies.

With over a decade of experience as a Red Seal Welder and a diverse background across multiple industries, Justin consistently applies his expertise to successfully complete complex and demanding projects. He possesses a strong foundation in welding, bolstered by multiple certifications, including CWB FCAW and SMAW. Justin’s approach prioritizes sustainable solutions over temporary fixes, ensuring that each project adheres to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Garry brings extensive experience in industrial construction and municipal infrastructure, having built his career as a Pipefitter in the oil and gas industry before expanding his expertise as a certified Rope Technician. His work spans a wide range of complex projects across Canada, from large-scale industrial developments to specialized infrastructure installations. As Mechanical Manager for Structure Group, Garry oversees mechanical operations with a strong field-driven perspective, ensuring practical execution, quality workmanship, and dependable project delivery.

With a diploma from TRU Joe has been involved in the management of rope access operations and technical compliance since 2012. The past 15 years saw him head hunted by larger firms, recently leaving Applus RTD as the national lead for Canada. Joe adds a decade of experience in hydro generation, construction and bridge inspection & repair to our team. Based out of Calgary he is responsible for Alberta operations outside of Fort. McMurray.

Loki has been with the company since day one. If you have trained with us, rented gear, or ever come by the shop Loki is the one barking at you and then acting indifferently. Now 12 years old he currently enjoys barking, sleeping on the couch in reception, begging our financial controller for treats and riding in the trucks.
