Syncrude Shut down 2020 Burner

As part of their year's major maintenance, Syncrude required entry, cleaning, and inspection of their burners' internal portion in their upgrader.

Wright Quality Services were contracted to complete inspection and services and contracted Structure for equipment, entry expertise and labor. Burner internals are tight difficult entries as they are confined within a confined space accessible by descending a rope system.

We designed scaffolding modifications supported by the scaffold contractor engineer to provide additional access with less congestion. Project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget with no incidents.
