Project Summary
During outage inspection stainless steel liner plates were found to be in critical condition within a conveyor system below a raw product storage silo.
Structure was asked to deploy welding teams capable of SMAW & FCAW stainless welding to replace wear plates within the conveyor housing. We deployed our 400a & 800a duo mobile rigs, welders, as well as a foreman arriving on site the next day.
All plates were removed, new plates cut, installed and welded out by our teams with no incidents other than a nice thank you from the mine manager for our production rates and efforts
